    I hired Matt to finish a basement for me. He did all of it from start to finish. The attention to detail was excellent. He has years of experience in the trade so he was able to provide insight to improve upon my vision of what I wanted. This not only allowed for the rooms to be more functional but added more resale value in the end. I highly recommend Matt and his team for any of your building projects! See more See less

    Matt Kuehn and Kayla are wonderful, caring people to work with. They listened to what we needed and coordinated our projects quite well as the site contractors to get groundwork done, service in, a foundation ready for the modular and then to build a garage. We experienced one complication with the foundation but Matt quickly addressed that. We were at times frustrated with their stretched-out scheduling, but did realize we were not their only build. Clean-up post completion, again, was not as soon as expected, but did get done. There was a challenge with the work of one subcontractor that we had to resolve ourselves but the company was on the County list, so we don’t blame No7 for that choice. Near completion of the garage, we wanted some extra work done and Matt made sure to line up the tradesmen quickly to fit our request. No7 was recommended to us so we did not go out and get other bids. As novices we would not have known the best way to approach that or evaluate them, therefore cannot say how reasonable or not the costs were. No7 was flexible with some payments as we waited on transferring funds. They always answered our questions and we feel the work was done to a quality standard. Yes, we would recommend that if you are looking for a builder you include talking with No7. See more See less

    So I had looked for reno help on a house project these awesome guys called me back I live in canada in alberta and and there in Washington state though they were unable to help me to phyically get the job done as we're close to 1000 kilometers apart they called me back to assist me and at least get me going in the right direction.... thats called awesome customer service talk to them even if you have a question there knowledgeable and very decent to talk Thanks for all you help guys I'll post photos on how it goes :) See more See less

    I contacted Matt in March 2021 about seeing if he was interested in constructing a deck off a 2nd floor ADU. He came and evaluated the job a couple days later (on a Saturday) and said that not only he could do it, but that it could be done in about 2 days and he could start the very next Saturday. We also agreed that because this was a small project it could be done between his other major jobs and might take a week or two to complete. I was skeptical and expected the typical "something came up, have to postpone/cancel" call, but he showed up bright and early on the following Saturday to start work just as promised. We discussed some modifications which improved the aesthetics of the deck and he got down to business. Two weeks later on a Saturday he showed up again bright and early, completed the deck and it has exceeded my expectations. I watched the entire process and asked many a question, and he had a thoughtful and professional answer for every one. I have carpenters and architects in my family so I probably know just enough to know what is quality work and what is not. Matt really builds beautiful and durable stuff. The planning dept inspector asked a few clarification questions and was very pleased with the structural integrity and how it was built. I have another project in the pipeline and I hope that I can recruit Matt to do that one for me. See more See less

    No. 7 Development is a first class company. Matt is a solid guy that sticks to his word. We had Matt and his crew do a build out in our office location and he got done earlier than planned and on budget. Two things that rarely happen these days.     I hired Matt and his team to help frame my new dream home. When my foundation crew skipped town and left me in a bind, Matt jumped in and saved the day. In an area where construction seems more like the wild west where there is no quality control or repercussions for people who have no business in construction, Matt is a rare find. He is trustworthy, honest, and hard-working, qualities that are definitely hard to come by in construction in Seattle these days.     We had a massive kitchen, laundry and room remodel. Matt and his crew were incredible. We have limited experience in contemporary products and design ideas. It was a real benefit to have not just a contractor but consultant to identify improvements, efficiencies, and economical yet quality alternatives. We appreciated the software they used to provide quotes, estimates and construction progress. The project took months and was in our main living area. Not ideal for the contractor or the customer. Despite the inconvenience, Matt, Dakota and Kayla were considerate and trustworthy individuals who took great pride in their work. Highly recommend. See more See less

    We enjoyed working with Matt. He was very attentive when listening to our ideas and when I asked about his thoughts/opinions, he was honest. We discussed that we wanted to stay within our budget, but of course issues would come up in an older home. He would give us multiple different options with explanations and let us decide. We were extremely satisfied with the outcome of the home!! Wish I had a picture of the finished kitchen!! Here are some pictures I do have. The home is from the mid-60’s as well. See more See less

    These guys are great. They showed up at 9 every day and didn’t leave until dusk sometimes. Pricing is reasonable for the quality work they produce. Our house looks really good. All our neighbors have told us the same. They’re all friendly and really listen to the client. Couldn’t be any happier. See more See less

    This is a great company!! Family owned and wonderful to work with. We hired them for a full kitchen remodel along with our laundry room. Their team was easy to work with and had great design ideas to help us maximize our space. They paid close attention to detail and went up and beyond to ensure things were done right, while still being mindful of cost and staying on budget. I would (and will) hire them again in the future!     After living on Samish Island for almost 3 years, I have struggled to find good help with home projects. On Saturday, I got a leak in my garage from a nearby bathroom, so as I was working to find someone to fix that problem, I also contacted some contractors to do a much planned remodel of that bathroom since we had the leak anyway. Matt came out ON A SUNDAY to check out the potential remodel project and came back the next day on MONDAY NIGHT to stop the leak, he did this BEFORE any of the plumbers I had called even responded to me!! He was professional, compassionate, sincere and outstanding in this work ethic and attention to detail. I have cancelled all my other meetings with contractors for the bathroom remodel and am working with Matt exclusively. Call Matt, he's terrific and he really cares. See more See less

I am fairly new to the area and I reached out to 8 contractors and builders for a small job - and Matt immediately got back to me. He communicated with me quickly and was clear to about availability and estimates. He worked within my schedule - and helped with demolition, prep and installation of a project for my kitchen.
